8. CS Gas

CS Gas is not controlled by the Chemical Weapons Convention and probably won't kill you. What it will do, however, is hurt. A lot.

This gas, also known as tear gas, is used with the sole purpose of rendering people, usually rioting civilians, in so much pain that they can't riot any more. The gas causes extreme burning irritation to the mucous membranes, including the eyes to the extent that the victim can't physically keep their eyes open. It's tricky to continue being civilly disobedient when you can't see anything.

Breathing this stuff in will cause respiratory irritation, disorientation, burning throat, streaming eyes, vomiting and temporary blindness.

So, yes, it won't kill you, but it certainly won't tickle either.
