8. 117,000 Lego Pieces Are Made Every Minute

When Lego's piece production hit its 600 billion milestone in 2015, the firm's numerous factories were churning them out at a staggering 117,000 parts per minute.

That's over seven million per hour and a whopping 168.5 million each day. Last year, it was estimated that every person on Earth owns an average of 102 LEGO bricks.

Mini Fig production continues to skyrocket. The latest estimates suggest their numbers reached five billion in 2016, which makes them the world's largest population group!
