8. See Animal Kingdom Come To Life At Night
Despite Rivers of Light being put on hold for the time being, Animal Kingdom has a lot going on this summer.
Memorial Weekend (i.e. the last weekend in May to us Brits) will see the start of guests being able to see the park after the sun has set and there is so much to see.
The Tree of Life will undergo "awakenings" each night as projections bring the tree's animals to life.
The much anticipated night time Kilimanjaro Safaris will begin to run. Special lights will bathe the savannah in a glow that will allow guests to witness the animals well after the sun has gone down.
Discovery Island will also have a carnival atmosphere with dancers, stilt walkers, music and food all featuring in this night time experience. The party isn't just coming to Discovery Island, the Harambe Wildlife Parti will be bring the African spirit to Animal Kingdom.
Tiffins is also set to open this summer. The new signature restaurant will showcase cuisine from around the world and will have waterfront views.
One recent announcement by Disney was the new Jungle Book: Alive with Magic performance that would be taking place on the Discovery River. For a limited time the park will host a music and special effects show based on the live action Jungle Book.
