5. Delta Updates
With iOS 5, Apple introduced the concept of Delta Updates, or rather the idea of downloading updates that include only the stuff you need, rather than the entire system again. Surprisingly, iTunes STILL doesn't use this approach, and every time I need to update it, I have to download the whole software pack again, rather than literally the patches, and new bits. This might seem like some relatively minor updates, and to be frank, we won't know the extent of the overhaul until later this year, but for the moment, my bets are on these.
