Breaking news - Ousted leader Col Gaddafi has been wounded and captured in Libya by transitional authorities. Reports are coming in Thursday afternoon that his capture came after transitional forces claimed control of Sirte, the birthplace of Gaddafi, after weeks of trouble. The U.S. always said that Gadaffi's capture would be inevitable after he lost power in August after 42 years of his regime. The International Criminal Court is seeking his arrest. National Transitional Council (NTC) official Abdel Majid spoke to the Reuters news agency;
"He's captured. He's wounded in both legs," "He's been taken away by ambulance."
Other reports are coming in that Gaddafi was 'seriously wounded' but still alive and breathing. BBC are reporting out in Tripoli that ships and cars are sounding their horns in celebration.
