2. The Characters

For many guests, meeting the Characters is the biggest draw of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

As with other special events, MNSSHP gives guests the chance to meet characters that are rarely seen in the park. The most popular characters are usually Jack & Sally, who never make a usual appearance at Walt Disney World. The chance to meet all of the Seven Dwarfs is also usually a hit amongst party goers too. Queues to meet these rare individuals can run into multiple hour long waits. If you know you are going to want to meet them, make sure you plan this time into your itinerary.

Some of the other characters have slightly shorter wait times. Characters from Alice in Wonderland were hanging out around the Mad Tea Party and I would estimate that you could have met them all under 40 minutes. I saw all the residents of Hundred Acre Wood in a relatively short wait and at the end of the night I met the main mouse himself, Mickey, in under 5 minutes.

Over in Tomorrowland, the Monsters Inc stars are throwing their own Monstrous Scream-O-Ween Ball. Guests young, and young at heart, can dance away the evening with Mike and Sully as well as other familiar faces from the films. Storybook Circus has its own party going on too. The Junior Jam features the stars of Disney Junior including Vamperina. These dance parties don't give you the chance for one-on-one time with the characters but they still allowed for parents to get fun photos of their kids dancing with their favourite characters.

Although technically not characters, the Cadaver Dans Barbershop Quartet perform over in Frontierland throughout the night. You are definitely going to want to stop by and see them.
