This was the one you've been waiting for, right..? As Chief Executive Officer Kazuo Hirai concluded his keynote speech to the media, a curtain behind him opened, and this is what stood behind him. Gasps could be heard from the colleagues sitting by me at the mere sight of it. With a jaw dropping 84-inch screen, it's easy to see why this was the most sought after reveal by tech fans from Sony at this years IFA. It is the biggest TV ever released by Sony Entertainment, and apart from the daunting prospect of carting it from the shop, there's also the issue of finding a place for the thing in your living room - not to mention the probably vast chunk of change one would have to part for it. It comes with a 10-driver speaker system, 4K resolution and passive 3D playback. Not to mention that it makes HD look like a Nintendo game. Comprising of approximately 8.29 megapixels, it delivers four times the resolution of full HD standard. This behemoth can also be controlled through Sony's Media Remote app with a smartphone or tablet, according to Sony, who have yet to announce either a price or a release date.
