Jurassic World Ride Is Coming To Universal Studios Hollywood

Say goodbye to Jurassic Park before it becomes extinct.

Universal Studios Hollywood have announced a new adventure that will soon be coming to life when Jurassic World lands in 2019.

Confirmed to be replacing Jurassic Park - The Ride, Universal have promised that the new attraction will contain "never-before-seen dinosaurs, enhanced storytelling, lush scenic design, an entirely new colour scheme and uncompromised state-of the art technology".

The Jurassic World Ride will be "drawing from the favourite elements of the original" so it's likely that the attraction will be re-themed rather than having a completely new ride system. The impressive drop will still feature and all new dinosaurs will likely mean brand new animatronics. It'll be really interesting to see how much new technology will feature in the new ride.

The original Jurassic Park - The Ride will be shutting its gates on September 3rd this year. The ride opened in 1996 and was inspired by both Michael Crichton's novel and Steven Speilberg's blockbuster movie. Universal have launched a “Countdown to the Extinction” campaign to invite fans of the ride from around the world to come and enjoy the ride one last time.
