Even though the concerts are only on select evenings, this year at Universal it's Mardi Gras every single day. A brass band will be playing in the French Quarter during the day and on an evening CityWalk will come to life with the music. The party continues well into the night.

Making this year the biggest Mardi Gras ever, the parade will be running nightly, not just on concert nights. Mythical Creatures themed floats are a new addition and have been engineered by the same company who put together the floats for the New Orleans celebration. The parade features stilt walkers, performers and dancers. There are beads up for grabs at this family-friendly event so get ready to start collecting them.

Mardi Gras wouldn't be complete without New Orleans style foods. Beignets, jambalaya and andouille sausage are all on offer for you to sample and enjoy.
