8. Will A Dragon Die?
From Tyrion's sample chapters in TWoW, we now know Rhaegal and Viseron are attacking and eating humans in Meeren. War has finally been unleashed in the slave city and the dragons are in the middle of it. First appearing at the end of AGoT, the three dragons have been an important part to the story and Daenerys Targaryen's character. Wouldn't it be shocking if at least one of them dies before reaching Westeros? GRRM has built them up as immensely powerful figures in the Game, and we are expecting total destruction and chaos as soon as they arrive in Westeros, but as we have learned the harsh way,you should never predict the outcome of a story-line. It would be a very GRRM moment if he kills off a dragon before Westeros. With the Battle of Meeren occurring, it could be possible a dragon is taken out by combined forces and strategic planning. Currently, none of the three have grown to full potential, and killing one would be easier to do now than later. A death of her dragon could finally be the push Dany needs to travel to Westeros; but I will elaborate on that later.
