Universal Studios Orlando have announced that a new restaurant, Toothsome Chocolate Factory & Savoury Feast Emporium, is set to open later this year at CityWalk. Universal's Creative team have joined forces with their culinary department to design a restaurant that would make Willy Wonka proud - a 19th century steampunk inspired chocolate factory. The restaurant will feature towering smokestacks, tanks and antique piping. Inside it will be decorated with a classic Victorian mixture of brass, dark wood and gadgetry inside. The theming doesn't stop there, even the staff members clothing will have a steampunk feel. Not only will they look the part but they will act it too. Universal have confirmed: "The menu features a wide variety of unexpected, yet familiar dishes from all-day-brunch crepes and quiches to unique takes on classic steak, seafood and pasta entrees, gourmet burgers, sandwiches, scrumptious salads and so much more. The number of options will leave you speechless. And the desserts and specialty items will be beyond the imagination." We have also been given a sneak peek at some of the treats on offer: "The artisan milkshake collection will include shakes with names such as Chocolate x5 mixed with chocolate spirals, chocolate chunks, chocolate ice cream and more along with Bacon Brittle, Espresso Buzzzz, Red Velvet and Key Lime Pie." "The sundaes include Smores with chocolate ice cream, chocolate sauce, marshmallow cream, graham crackers and more Salted Caramel Flan, Chocolate Brownie Bark and more." Not just a restaurant, Toothsome's is also a working chocolate factory. Guests can watch chefs making the chocolate creations, as well as purchase some to take home. Located close to the entrance at Islands of Adventure, it will be taking over the former home of NBA City at CityWalk lagoon. Rumours over past weeks have been circulating from hopeful wrestling fans that a WWE Hall of Fame themed restaurant would be taking over this prime location at Universal Resort Orlando. With this announcement, it looks like WWE fans are going to have to find a new location for a permanent Hall of Fame. For chocolate lovers though, it's game on! Toothsome Chocolate Factory & Savoury Feast Emporium is one of nine new concepts in two years to arrive at Universal CityWalk.
