Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights 26: 10 Things You Need To Know
4. Some Of The Biggest Names In Horror Are Coming

Usually Halloween Horror Nights contain some of the biggest names in the world of horror and this year is no exception.
Since April, the HHN26 team have been slowly revealing just which intellectual properties (IP's) who will have their own mazes this year. Out of 9 mazes, 6 will be based upon franchises that fans will know and love.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Leatherface and his terrifying family have been to HHNs before but this will be the first time the house will be based upon the 1974 original movie. This is a maze where Leatherface could be around the next corner. Eventually he will catch you, it's only a matter of time. The question is, will you escape his chainsaw?
The Exorcist: Described by Mike Aiello as a "white whale" that has finally been caught, The Exorcist makes its debut this year at HHNs. Despite the movie being almost entirely set in the confides of one room, the team at Universal Creative have deconstructed it to makes it a psychological thriller of a house. Imagine pushing through a wall surrounded by vomit covered mattresses and the smells that go along with it?
WhatCulture were given a peek at some of the blueprints for this house and we can promise it will be like nothing you have ever seen before.

The Walking Dead: AMC's The Walking Dead has become a staple of HHN but this time you will follow the stories of the survivors across all 6 series. Just like the characters from the show you will experience season one's hospital, the eerie fishtanks from the Governor's home in season 3 and you will attempt to escape from season 4's Terminus.
Halloween - Hell Comes to Haddonfield: HHN24's Halloween maze is often praised by fans as being the greatest maze in the history of the event. Now guests can rejoin the journey of Michael Myers exactly where the first left off. Based on Halloween II, the maze will begin with the last scene from HHN24's maze and continue on to Haddonfield Memorial Hospital. However, just like Laurie, you won't be safe from Myers in there.
Krampus: Christmas is set to come early to Universal Orlando this year as Krampus arrives, bringing with him all of his nightmarish band of dark elves and gingerbread men. Can you make your way through the house and survive? Krampus needs souls for his workshop, and yours is the perfect gift he can give himself.
American Horror Story: Based on 3 different seasons of the cult show, the American Horror Story house is set to be an uber-maze with a massive layout. Season 1: Murder House, Season 4: Freak Show and Season 5: Hotel will all feature in the house. Universal have been working alongside series creator Ryan Murphy and 20th Century Fox, to recreate each series in detail.
