Universal Orlando Resort: Cabana Bay Beach Resort Vs Aventura Hotel
Facilities
Cabana Bay
If you're after a night of family fun then why not spend an evening at Galaxy Bowl. The 10 lane bowling alley is located just off the lobby and costs $15 for adults and $9 for kids. Galaxy Bowl also has a full service bar and restaurant.
Cabana Bay has a huge fitness centre for those who would prefer not to skip a workout. The Swizzle Lounge bar is located in the lobby and you can also catch a movie in a lounge area just off the Bayliner Diner.
The arcade at Cabana Bay is the ideal place to be when those Florida showers hit. There's also a shop with everything from Harry Potter jumpers to headache tablets.
If you need to some washing whilst on your vacation there's plenty of small laundry rooms around the resort. This means you don't have to haul heavy bags of washing across the resort.
Aventura
Aventura has almost a quarter of the rooms that Cabana Bay has, but that doesn't mean that it lacks when it comes to facilities.
Overlooking the entrance of the hotel, the fitness centre has everything that you would need to get in a decent workout. The arcade at Aventura is more of a games room and has VR fun with Space Pirate Trainer and Fruit Ninja being just two you can play.
BarVentura in the hotel lobby offers plenty of seating and alcoholic beverages to sit and wait for the rest of your party or chill after a busy park day.
As with Cabana Bay, the hotel does have coin operated laundry machines and a Universal store to stock up on Minion merchandise.
Universal does let hotel guests share facilities so although Aventura is on the smaller side guests can make the most of the facilities at its other resorts including, dining, entertainment and pools.
Winner
Cabana Bay comes out on top with the sheer amount of facilities that it has on hand.
