Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights 2025 Houses - Ranked!
1. Terrifier
The House
Go into the Funhouse and come face-to-face with the infamous Art the Clown.
As you make your way through the "claustrophobic corridors" you come face-to-face with the familiar characters from all three Terrifier movies. Make sure you don't become chopped liver at the Clown Cafe, see (and smell) the horrific bathroom scene and get into the festive spirit in the way Art the Clown intended.
Will you make it through the Funhouse in one piece or will you find yourself a victim in Art's blood bath?
The Verdict
I have never experienced a house like Terrifier. It was gory, funny and interactive in a way that it was completely immersive.
Not being a fan of the films, I can't say I thought Terrifier would rank highly for me. After walking through this house multiple times, this is unequivocally one of the best haunted houses I have every experienced at HHN,
Art the Clown is an incredible horror character and in this house he was almost omnipresent.
Art, Vicky and the Little Pale Girl, were EVERYWHERE! It felt like they were unescapable. Keep an eye out for Sienna Shaw, she is there too. The trio of villains weren'tjust there to give you a jump scare.
Art the Clown in particular would kind of hang out in scenes, taking time to interact with guests in all the cheeky ways you would expect from the mime.
During one scene, in the middle of using a chainsaw on a victim, Art stopped to clean his weapon and show it off to us. One encouraged me to rate his kill. These moments were fun and very memorable.
Terrifer was always going to be the undisputed gore house for HHN34. Art's on screen kills are not for the faint of heart and they carried over into the house. The scenes themselves were gruesome and the smells were vividly pungent.
We were told in advance that this house was the wettest that Universal have ever created for HHN. They really weren't kidding!
There was so much water mimicking blood and other substances. All of this culminated at the end where Art asks you to choose either the "Dry Path" or the "Blood Bath." Of course I chose the "Blood Bath." All I will say is, Universal were selling ponchos outside the house.
Terrifer is up there with the best houses I have ever been through at Universal Orlando Resort. It ticked every box and more!
Overall Verdict
This year marks the 34th year that Halloween Horror Nights have been scaring people silly in their wonderful haunted houses. I truly believe that this may be the highest quality and most elaborate year they have ever created.
Every house was worth queuing up for and spending time in.
If this is how good HHN34 is, we can't wait to see what the team at Universal have in store for their 35th anniversary year!
