Work Resumes On Universal Orlando's Epic Universe Theme Park
Epic Universe will be Universal's fourth park in Orlando.
Universal Studios Orlando have announced that work will once again resume on the new "spectacular park", Epic Universe. Production had temporarily been halted last July because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Universal's fourth theme park will almost double the size of Universal's current land and will boast restaurants, shops and an entertainment centre.
The new park will be one of the most immersive that Universal has ever created. We don't know exactly what rides will appear at Epic Universe but one thing we do know is that Super Nintendo World is due to come to the Orlando parks in the future so perhaps we can will see Mario and Luigi strut their stuff in the near future!
Epic Universe is set to bring a massive 14,000 jobs to Orlando, not including those who will be brought in temporarily as part of construction. With the devastating impact the pandemic has had on the tourist industry across the world, it's positive news to see Epic Universe will once again be coming to Orlando!
At the moment there is no confirmed opening date for Epic Universe but fingers crossed we won't have to wait too long before we can enjoy Orlando's newest theme park.
