Arsenal Transfers: 5 Players Wenger Must Buy To Catch United

4. Luis Suarez

Mr Controversy himself, few players have managed to divide opinion so vehemently as the Uruguayan maestro Luis Suarez. This man is known throughout his career for scoring obscene amounts of goals for his clubs as well as behaving in a way many find incomprehensible and unacceptable. This author believes that the sheer talent of Suarez is worth the risk any club would be taking in splashing a reported £40 million on his transfer fee. At times last season Suarez single-handedly dragged Liverpool up the table, and his record of 23 goals in the Premier League (only three behind tee-total goal machine RVP) is beyond impressive considering the objectively sub-par team he was playing with. Arsenal on the other hand have no problems putting their strikers in front of goal, it is the frontmen's ability to finish which is most often questioned. Although considered a gamble by some, Suarez and Arsenal could be a match made in heaven in terms of playing style, and a prospect which should give defenders nightmares.
