WCW Star's Son Signs For Baltimore Ravens
Bronson Rechsteiner is officially a Raven.
Former WCW/WWF star Rick Steiner's son Bronson Rechsteiner has officially signed with NFL team the Baltimore Ravens, according to Kennesaw State University.
Over 20 undrafted rookies are expected to sign with the Ravens over the next few weeks and Rechsteiner has become one of those incoming potential future stars in the last few days.
As part of The Owls' option offense, the son of the former WCW star earned an impressive 909 rushing yards last season and averaged eight yards per carry.
On top of this, Rechsteiner has also demonstrated the signature Steiner Brothers strength on numerous occasions. Most recently at Kennesaw State's pro day in March, when the newly acquired Raven pushed out a monstrous 35 reps on the bench press. That alone would have landed him the third best bench press score at the NFL combine.
Rechsteiner has also stated that he'd be open to following in his father's footsteps should his NFL career not work out.
He'd definitely have some big shoes to fill, as Steiner's CV boasts eight WCW Tag Team Championships and two WWF Tag Team Championships. But, judging from his stellar physical attributes (which he's already showcased during his football career) he looks as though he'll be more than ready for the challenge if a career in pro wrestling comes calling.
