6 HUGE WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 Predictions You Need To Know

Cody Rhodes didn't do it for The Rock. He did it because his WrestleMania 42 dream demanded it.

So, what's in the box? That's one of the biggest selling points for this weekend's PLE, which might say it all about the state of that Elimination Chamber gimmick in 2026. The success of these matches hinges on WWE delivering lineups of hungry superstars fans want to see move on to a title match at WrestleMania, but this year's incarnation feels a little lacklustre.

There's time to right the ship.

Saturday's show will feature 2 Chamber matches, a Women's Intercontinental Title showdown and a World Heavyweight Title exhibition. Sorry, but that's what CM Punk vs. Finn Bálor is. The real juice will be squeezed from it post-match. That's a bold prediction in these pages, at least.

Join in the fun as we predict everything that'll happen in Chicago. Who's winning the men's Elimination Chamber match? Who's going on to challenge Jade Cargill after winning the women's version? Why will AJ Lee leave with egg on her face despite being a firm favourite to take Becky Lynch's title? How do WWE make the most of Punk vs. Bálor? What's in the mystery box that's been showing up on episodes of Raw and SmackDown?!

There's a lot to power through, including the potential for a second consecutive seismic heel turn at the Chamber PLE. John Cena stunned everybody last year but didn't capitalise on his realignment. So, if/when somebody else major goes rogue, they have to get it right. 'Mania 42 could honestly depend on it.

Here are all the predictions for what'll go down on WWE's latest PLE.

6. Becky Lynch Welcomes A New Protege

Most believe that AJ Lee will take the Women's Intercontinental Title away from a rattled Becky Lynch. Initially, this writer was very much amongst those believers, but he's had a change of heart after digesting what happened on this week's episode of NXT. There, Zaria turned on her old pal Sol Ruca by dishing out a vicious attack that cost Sol the match vs. Jacy Jayne.

A crafty veteran like Becky would've been watching.

So, is it really out of line to suggest that Zaria shows up in Chicago as Lynch's new protege to stop Lee from taking the gold? That'd marry a developmental brand story with what's happening on 'A' show Raw, which could be cool. Plus, it's only a matter of time before Ruca makes a splash on the main roster anyway, so why not see what Zaria can achieve?

She has the might and the muscle to work well as Becky's go to bodyguard/heater. Think Zoey Stark when she was buddying up with Trish Stratus against Lynch a few years back. That's the sort of thing we'd be looking at here. Assuming all goes to plan, it might well help Zaria bed in on the main crew herself.

Admittedly, she does seem set for a breakaway heel role on NXT post-Sol, but Triple H may be seeking a way to keep the Women's IC belt on Lynch until WrestleMania 42 at the earliest. If so, then welcoming Zaria up to the big leagues as Becky's new accomplice sounds like a solid enough plan.

That'd necessitate a 'Mania rematch, if nothing else.
