10 Most Random Star Wars Appearances Ever

Remember when Lizzo and Jack Black showed up in The Mandalorian?

You know the feeling.

You're peacefully taking in another wonderful story set in the galaxy far, far away, when suddenly, one of the biggest music stars on the planet, a famous WWE wrestler, or even an actor you could've sworn had already appeared in the Star Wars universe randomly drops in for an appearance.

Insert Rick Dalton pointing meme here.

And while these out of the blue cameos, returns, and surreal crossovers may briefly take you out of the Force-sensitive mayhem, these odd arrivals often lead to some delightfully unanticipated moments of captivating action too.

In some cases though, there's no denying that seeing a famous face casually show up to hold a baby alien or roll a dice in a casino can be a bit more distracting than exciting, even if these brief showings were a dream come true for the folks involved.

But whether you absolutely adored music legends clashing with Jedi, or could've done without a Hamilton star surprisingly popping up in the closing stages of the Skywalker Saga, one thing is certain: each of these Star Wars appearances were random as hell.

While a professional wrestler suddenly deciding to give this acting stuff a try isn't exactly anything new, that still didn't change the fact that seeing now-former WWE star Sasha Banks/Mercedes Moné sharing the screen with various Mandalorians during Disney+'s second season of the hit Star Wars show was about as bizarre as it gets.

Not only was this the first time a wrestler had been involved in the galaxy far, far away, but the star's turn as Koska Reeves was actually Mercedes Varnado's acting debut too.

And despite the majority of WWE fans around the globe quickly shouting "huh, that's Sasha Banks!" at their TVs during her first few minutes of screen time, 'The Boss' very quickly settled into life as a badass Mandalorian, even giving the mighty Boba Fett a run for his money during Chapter 16: The Rescue.

Then, in the wake of telling fans she wouldn't be appearing in the most recent third season, Reeves only went and made a few unexpected appearances in Chapters 22, 23, and 24.

Even with the star now very much being part of the Star Wars furniture, seeing a former SmackDown and Raw Women's Champion blasting around the galaxy in beskar will never not be surreal.
