10 Actors Who Played MANY Roles In The Same Show

2. Tatiana Maslany - Orphan Black

Tatiana Maslany gave a phenomenal, Emmy-winning performance throughout Orphan Black's five seasons, where she played more than a dozen clone "sisters," all of whom have their own distinct accents, appearances, and personality quirks.

Maslany played five of the clones on a regular basis during the show: con artist protagonist Sarah Manning, American PhD student Cosima Niehaus, housewife Alison Hendrix, psychotic stalker Helena, and the manipulative Rachel Duncan.

But beyond this, Maslany also made regular appearances as a bevy of other clones, including perhaps most laudably a transgender male clone, Tony Sawicki.

Given that Maslany had to regularly portray numerous clones interacting with one another in the very same scene, it was an enormously demanding and multi-faceted part.

To portray so many characters and make them feel persuasively alive in their own right with no overlap at all is incredibly impressive.

And yet she absolutely nailed it, finally winning herself a well-earned Emmy in the process in 2016.
