10 Amazing TV Cameos That Should've Happened (But Didn't)

9. Will Friedle €“ Parks And Recreation

Did you know that Adam Scott (Ben Wyatt) from Parks and Recreation was a recurring character on Boy Meets World? Of course you do. Who could forget the saga of Griff? Now that Scott is playing straight man for TV's current sitcom favourite, it stands to reason that someone from Boy Meets World should have made a cameo by now, especially before Louis C.K. got his chance as Leslie's old cop boyfriend. Parks and Recreation has already had some fantastic cameos already, including appearances from politicians like Barbara Boxer and even John McCain. The only reason I'm not including Hilary Clinton on this list is because I have little doubt that the show will eventually make that happen. For a Boy Meets World cameo, my first pick would have to be Will Friedle/Eric Matthews €“ Griff's favorite punching bag and one of Boy Meets World's best comedic offerings. Some of the best cameos on television have been when actors play opposite themselves. In this case, Friedle would excel as a more serious character or even villain on Parks and Recreation. Not only would this be hilarious, but Eric Matthews could finally get his revenge against the bully Adam Scott once was in an inside joke that only the best fans would understand. Unfortunately, the chances of a cameo like this happening aren't that great, especially because Friedle is having a hard enough time landing a cameo on Girl Meets World (though I'm sure he will at some point).
