Just another warm summer day for shut-in Jinta Yadomi, only this time he’s being pestered by the spirit of his childhood friend and crush, Meiko Honma. Unable to get rid of her, he attempts various things to help her move on into the afterlife. Whether it’s getting a rare Nokemon (yes, it’s exactly what you think it is), making a homemade firework, or just going back to school, Jinta does whatever it takes to help his deceased friend.
Unfortunately for Jinta, he needs to reunite with his once close group of friends, who drifted apart shortly after Meiko’s death. Getting them together may be his only chance of getting Meiko to finally leave her friends behind and move on from this world.
