10. Parks And Recreation

Greg Daniels and Mike Schur's political sitcom was frequently nominated by the Emmys, but never received any proper love during its seven-season run. The show was nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series twice - in 2011 and 2015 - with star Amy Poehler earning Oustanding Lead Actress nods on six occasions but never picking up the prize.

The reason for this comes down to two shows the Emmys adore: Modern Family and Veep. Parks & Rec emerged just when the former was hitting its stride as an awards giant, while most of Poehler's nominations coincided with Julia Louis-Dreyfus picking up the Actress award every year.

While both of those shows have deserved some of their dominance, it's hard to think that Parks & Rec, and certainly Poehler, didn't deserve at least one moment of recognition during that run (Poehler also lost out to Nurse Jackie's Edie Falco, and Mike and Molly's Melissa McCarthy). All that's not to mention the supporting performances and the sharp writing, none of which garnered nominations, much less an actual win.
