9. Meeting The Mother - How I Met Your Mother
You'd think that after it took 9 years to meet the premise of the entire series, How I Met Your Mother would feel drawn out and tired. But lovable characters, excellent writing, and some great cast chemistry has made this one of the most endearing and clever shows in television history. When we finally meet "The Mother" in the Season 8 finale, she even looks how Ted has been describing her over the years. In the season 9 premiere, as we watch "The Mother" interact with Lily, we even get to witness some of her legendary personality and humor. When we see her talking with Barney outside the pharmacy, we get to see her amazing empathy first-hand. She's almost like a female version of Ted. The most important part of her interactions with Lily and Barney, however, is how easily she connects with them. You can totally see "The Mother," Lily, and Barney having adventures of their own in the future. It will be interesting to see Marshall and Robin's first meeting with her as well. Throughout the years, given all of the women Ted has been through, his seemingly endless chasing of Robin, and the crazies he's dated, it'll be an awesome payoff when he finally bags the girl of his dreams.
