10 Best Christmassy Doctor Who Villains

3. Heavenly Hosts

Under the service of the villainous Max Capricorn, these psychotic Christmas angels were part of a scheme to crash a replica of the Titanic into Earth.

Battling the Tenth Doctor and Astrid Peth in 2007's Voyage of the Damned, the Heavenly Hosts resembled Christmas tree toppers but were entirely deadly. Using their sharpened halos as throwing discs and their angelic wings to aid in their hunt for survivors, these Hosts were far from Heavenly.

Planning to crash the Titanic into the planet for insurance money, the cyborg Max Capricorn needed these robots as his enforcers to ensure no one on the ship could stop him.

Responsible for the grisly deaths of several supporting characters throughout the episode, these robots were relentless in their task and carried out their master's instructions. Only when Astrid pushed Capricorn to his death did the Hosts acknowledge the next highest authority on the ship - the Doctor.

Grabbing hold of the Doctor's arms, the Hosts flew the Doctor through the ship to the bridge, where he managed to steer the Titanic away from oblivion.

Almost ruining another Christmas for Earth, these golden robots were one of the Tenth Doctor's most lethal opponents.
