It seems like a lifetime ago since Catelyn Stark tasked Brienne with the duty of returning the Kingslayer back to King's Landing. Jaime Lannister was a scruffy, two-handed, smirking villain when Brienne got her hands on him, but she changed him. The pair endured rough times, but Jaime's redeeming moment of transformation came when he rescued Brienne from the bear pit at the ominous fortress of Harrenhal. They were an unlikely duo, but some of those scenes were Brienne's finest, and the mutual respect of each other even drifted into flickers of love at times, though the pair now find themselves at the opposite ends of the world, with little hope of seeing each other again.
