HE'S ALIVE!
After a few failed attempts, Jerome Valeska is resurrected by one of his fanatical fans, Dwight, during which he decides to cut off Jerome's face and wear it over his own, pretending that he is in fact, Jerome. Dwight claims to continue that "we are all, in fact, Jerome", while rallying the deranged troops to head to one of Gotham's TV stations to broadcast a message to the Gotham masses. But there is one big problem with that: he's a charismatic as a chunk of wet seaweed.
Meanwhile, Leslie Thompkins gets a delightful but unwelcome visit from a faceless Jerome, who is a little bit peeved off that his face has gone walkies. Adding insult to injury, he comments on how stale Dwight is in his alleged showmanship.
A special shout out to Leslie Thompkins for reminding Jerome that Bruce Wayne is still on his kill list. Yeah, thanks Doc.
Jerome leaves Leslie bound and gagged, and kidnaps Dwight where he is finally reunited with his beloved face. He takes Dwight to a power plant where he straps the deranged face stealer to a chair laden with explosives. After broadcasting a cheerful message to the civilians of Gotham, for them to be 'reborn', he ignites the explosives, blowing up Dwight in the process. Due to the explosion, it causes a City-wide power outage sending everything into darkness.
