10 Best Gotham Episodes
8. One Bad Day
Jeremiah Valeska is Gotham's Marmite. You either love him or you hate him. Yet no matter how you feel about him, you have to admit that this episode of Gotham is one to remember.
One Bad Day is a stand out episode that keeps you on the edge of your seat from the first note to the end. Jeremiah Valeska had emerged from his cloud of laughing gas with a whole new demeanour in tow. He's calculated, dangerous and a snazzy dresser. Quite the triple threat.
And after kidnapping Alfred, he's really on his way to becoming the most hated man in Gotham; because how can you not love Alfred? A dash of fear toxin is thrown in the mix as Bruce tracks down his faithful butler, while encountering some of his darkest fears. Thankfully Selina is around to save the day, and to show Bruce that he has been manipulated.
On the other side of Gotham, Oswald Cobblepot and Solomon Grundy join forces with Barbara Kean and Tabitha Galavan to take on Jeremiah. After discovering a set of bombs, they threaten Jeremiah (but not with a good time), and he sets the bombs to detonate in sequence. It's to no avail as Harvey Bullock, Lucius Fox and Edward Nygma manage to disarm the bombs just in time.
However all is not well in fair Gotham as Jeremiah receives a visit from Ra's Al Ghul, and as you've guessed that is really not what Gotham needs right now.
