A typically great Christmastime outing, this one is only low on the list because of how little Yuletide content it actually includes—try re-watching this one outside of December and you’ll be amazed by how much its titular plot, wherein Robin becomes too at home in a Minnesota themed bar to which Marshall introduces her, could work in any instalment of the show.

Admittedly, it’s a distinctly Christmas-y sort of homesickness which prompts Marshall to share his hometown secret with Robin in the first place, but this one is an all-round superb Christmas episode that just happens to have little to do with the titular holiday.
