2. Drake & Josh
Series Run: 2004-2008 (60 episodes) Another comedy duo that sprung from a sketch show (this time The Amanda Show, which makes Drake & Josh possibly the best spin-off of a spin-off of all time), Drake & Josh was Dan Schneider's sitcom apex. Featuring a big cast of absurd comic characters, it was fortunate that the best characters were still the leads. There is still some unrest in the fan community regarding whether or not fat Josh or skinny Josh was the better Josh (Josh Peck will always be great regardless of his weight), the general consensus for people who watched the show was that it was great. It's going to take some time to list all of the great parts of the show: it was really funny, it featured Miranda Cosgrove pretty much as a ten year-old psycopath, Drake got all of the ladies, Josh got all of the A's, and Mindy Crenshaw got what every teenage girl should have wanted. To realize that the show is more highly rated than both Kenan & Kel and The Amanda Show may perplex some, but if you look inside I'm sure you'll find that it was really the culmination of all of Dan Schneider's work. Watching it always picked me up when I was down, and it remains to be a stand-out show that is easily watchable today.
