10 Best TV Bromances Ever

1. JD & Turk - Scrubs

Joey and Chandler perhaps created the bromance template, but Turk and JD arguably perfected it. No other bromance is so clearly defined with all its traditions, quirks, and running gags, and that's why it takes the top spot on our list.

What's unique about this particular friendship is that the characters themselves basically proclaimed that they were in a bromance from day one, instead of letting the fans do it on their own. They were practically shouting it from the rooftops!

They were as inseparable as humanly possible, and sometimes literally so, with all the bro-hugs they were constantly having. It went so far that a lot of people legitimately thought Turk's surname was AndJD. Good thing Carla kept her own name when they got married. According to JD himself, their relationship was like a "blooming onion, delicious... but not really so healthy."

Healthy or not, it became the gold standard for bromances everywhere. Apart from coining the term "bro-hug", they also wrote Guy Love, a song which became the anthem for fellow bromantics all over the world. So, after you finish reading this article, make sure to ring your best friend and remind him that:

"I'll be there to care through all the lows.

I'll be there to share the highs.

It's guy love, between two guys."
