10 Big Film Stars Who Appeared In Doctor Who

7. Michael Sheen

Providing the voice of a TARDIS eating asteroid has to be about as far away from the majority of Michael Sheen's most prolific roles as he could get, bubble universe notwithstanding. With starring roles in films such as The Queen, Frost/Nixon, and The Damned United, Sheen seems to have built his acting career with his portrayals of modern, real life personalities alone. He has played former Prime Minister Tony Blair in no less than three different productions, also brought comedy legend Kenneth Williams to life in TV special Fantabulosa!, and even played the camera shy Jeremy Dyson, the fourth member of the League of Gentlemen, in their cinematic Apocalypse. That is not to say these are his only celebrated performances however, as in recent years he has also been seen in Tron: Legacy, and as arch-villain Aro in the Twilight Saga.
