With such a lengthy career it is entirely possible that everyone, regardless of genre tastes, has seen a David Warner film at some point in their lives. For the majority of his roles these will include appearances in numerou cult classics, which encompasses everything from Straw Dogs, Time Bandits, and The Company of Wolves, to the fact that in the single year of 1991 he was seen in films as disparate as Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret Of The Ooze. Despite these though, it was probably horror and sci-fi favourites The Omen and Tron which bought him many of his biggest fans. Whether a specific fan of his or not though, it is hardly surprising that a veteran of Warner's calibre was given such an important role in one of the biggest films ever made. In 1997, also the same year that Scream 2 was released, Warner reached what has to be his biggest ever audience as valet and bodyguard Spicer Lovejoy in James Cameron's Titanic. Warner finally appeared on screen in Doctor Who along with the return of the Ice Warriors in Cold War, but it was far from his first foray with the series. He provided the voice for the animated Lord Azlok in the David Tennant special Dreamland, and several more for the audio adventures, including an alternate Unbound version of the Doctor himself.
