3. Gaylord
Just like 'Sixfinger,' the advert for a seemingly innocent toy begins with black and white children hurling abuse. 'Gaylord' exists in a time when the word 'gay' meant happy, and it was a happy, innocent time. Since then, the only other 'Gaylord' I have seen since is in Gaylord Justice in 'Smokey and the Bandit II.' The mechanical dog lumbers along and even comes with his own bone, and his advert comes complete with bizarre words. Saying "When you pull his leash he'll walkity walkity walk," it proved the were teaching children bad grammar and homophobia since as early as 1962.
