10 Controversies That Rocked The Walking Dead

4. Season 4, Episode 14

Andrew Lincoln warned us that an episode towards the end of Season 4 was set to be the most controversial in the show's history, yet nobody could possibly have predicted what was about to happen. Tyreese, Carol, baby Judith, and the young sisters, Lizzie and Mika formed a dysfunctional along the route to Terminus, though Lizzie became increasingly unstable, losing touch with reality, as the horrors of the new world psychologically took hold of her. She ended up killing her own little sister to see her come back to life as a walker, and horrifyingly outlined plans to do the same to Judith, leaving Carol with the heartbreaking move to kill Lizzie. Child murder, followed by child execution. Despite the controversy, The Grove is comfortably one of the greatest ever episodes of The Walking Dead, with huge credit going to Brighton Sharbino and Kyla Kennedy for their superb performances as Lizzie and Mika respectively.
