With Lex Luthor joining the Supergirl cast, it was only a matter of time before fans were going to be introduced to an adaptation of Lex's iconic outfit. The Lexosuit has been used to take on Superman in the past, and the suit has been showcased to look quite deadly in the series.

With the ability to be piloted remotely, and featuring many kryptonite based weapons, Supergirl and Superman will always have a tough challenge against Lex's suits.

The Lexosuit allows Luthor to take on Kryptonians, as the suit has kryptonite powered energy blasts, blades made of the substance and can lock a foe inside the remote controlled suit in order to imprison them.

Once imprisoned, the suit can also release green kryptonite into itself, allowing it to hold a foe as powerful as Superman. This ability was utilised to trap Supergirl so that the villainous Red Daughter could frame her by acting as if she was Kara.

Lex's suit gives the user enhanced strength, which is obviously needed when you are going blow to blow with the likes of Kara Danvers, and also looks a lot cooler than the comic book version of the suit of armour.

At least Lex's bald head isn't sticking out of this suit like a massive target...
