6. Michonne Arrives

Depending on your feelings towards Andrea by the end of the second season, you either wanted her to be eaten alive by the rogue zombie chasing her through the forest or hoped her and Rick would eventually hook up like they did in the comic books.

Sadly for everyone who felt either way about her, neither happened during this scene. But those who were angry that Andrea didn't meet her maker weren't too upset because a new, sword wielding character turned up and significantly increased the badass quota immediately.

What a way to make an entrance too. Just as Andrea looked like she was about to become a three course meal for a walker after being left behind by the group, Michonne swoops in with a samurai sword that would make Miyamoto Musashi proud and a couple pet zombies and decapitates it before it feasts on the damsel in distress.

Besides from the zombie decapitation and a close-up on her hooded figure, we don't learn much about Michonne from this point. If you're a reader of the comic books then you already knew how awesome she is, but for those who only watch the show her introduction was perfectly timed as it leads directly into meeting The Governor in the next season.
