10 Deaths That Would Ruin Game Of Thrones

8. Jon Snow

As viewers, we have been witness to Jon Snow's growth and maturity as a man, and along with that, his rising importance to the overall events of the show. He's evolved from an unsure young man trying to please his father to a respected warrior and leader. The bastard son of Ned Stark willingly joined the Night's Watch, never quite feeling at home amongst his high born family despite their efforts to include him. Side by side with Ghost, his loyal Direwolf, Snow took his place at the wall among the brotherhood at Castle Black. Originally not much more than a minor ancillary character, Jon's arc has become one of the focuses of the series and looks to play a major role in season four's final episodes. From his brief romance with Ygritte to his bond with his fellow Watchmen, Snow has become a fan favorite and one of the only true "good guys" we've been exposed to. His future seems bleak, with a massive army approaching with ill intent as well as the decimation of his family, but we're rooting for him all the way.
