In a world populated by malevolent villains, perhaps none are more vile than the former Ramsey Snow. Tasked with control of the Dreadfort (fantastic name) in his father Roose Bolton's stead during the War of the Five Kings, Ramsey retook Winterfell from Theon Greyjoy and the Ironborn. The first sign of his wickedness came when his offer of mercy to anyone who surrendered was rescinded and he flayed them alive, true to the seal of his house. Theon's torturous captor has broken him so fully that he willingly does his bidding, even when given opportunities to resist and possibly find freedom. Even though Greyjoy was a betrayer, killing those who had essentially raised and cared for him, the heinous acts that Ramsey committed were hard to sit through. The Bolton bastard is clearly a sociopath with no morals whatsoever, and it is that resourceful ruthlessness that led to his father Roose finally granting him the Bolton name. Iwan Rheon's portrayal of the character is chilling, and every time Ramsey speaks it makes one's skin crawl. There are no shades of gray where he's concerned, and that's what makes him so much fun. Hopefully we get to see him interact with some of the more central characters soon.
