10 Decisions That Have Already Doomed Upcoming TV Shows

6. Bringing Raffi Back - Star Trek: Picard (Season 3)

Picard Season 3 Raffi

The third and apparently final season of Star Trek: Picard will once again give the series a soft reset by ditching most of the ongoing cast and reuniting Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) with his old Enterprise crewmates.

While it's understandable to a point that most of the prior cast members won't return, given that their stories were largely wrapped up, many fans groaned when it was revealed that fanbase punching bag Raffi (Michelle Hurd) would actually be coming back.

It's certainly no fault of actress Michelle Hurd, but Raffi was by far the most widely hated character of Picard's first two seasons, due to her obnoxiously brash personality and generally sloppy, inconsistent characterisation.

Knowing we'll have to put up with a season's worth of Raffi calling Picard "JL" again will place a huge dampener on the nostalgic appeal of seeing Patrick Stewart back with his The Next Generation co-stars.
