Finally, the story we most want to see is one which introduces a new iconic foe. Weve not had many in the new series the Weeping Angels, the Silence, the Ood and the Slitheen are the only truly memorable new monsters. The Slitheen and the Silence will likely never appear in Doctor Who again, and the Ood will only ever be used as a background extra or when budgetary concerns render their return necessary. The Weeping Angels will, however, return time and time again until the Moff has exhausted all possible stories with them. This would be a big mistake. The Weeping Angels need never return again. To do otherwise would ruin them even further as a race. The Moff has created both the Weeping Angels and the Silence, so he has the ingenuity to create another iconic monster. Time will tell, but its long been a bugbear of the fan community that we see the return of many monsters rather than the creation of a new one. We need something memorable.
