10 Doctor Who Mistakes You Can NEVER Unsee

Safety precautions are a common sight in all sorts of places, no matter what universe you're in - and the Doctor Who universe is no different.

Well, actually, it is different in one respect: grammar.

Look no further than Series 5's The Time Of Angels, in which the Eleventh Doctor, Amy Pond, and River Song hunt an escaped Weeping Angel through the creepy Maze Of The Dead. Before they embark on that mission though, they group up at base camp to formulate a plan, and it's here where we find our mistake.

When Amy is stood in the doorway of a futuristic ship, look at the door behind her to see the phrase "CAUTION: TRIP HAZZARD" plastered across the surface. This, of course, should say "TRIP HAZARD" with a single "Z", not two - unless of course it's written in some funky alien language that randomly adds extra consonants?

Either way, "Trip Hazzard" sounds like a low-budget porn actor from the 1980s.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
