10 Doctor Who Moments That Make NO SENSE

3. Why Do The Daleks Have A SPIN Button?

At the end of the Series 4 finale, just when everything looks bleak for the Tenth Doctor and his army of friends/human weapons, Donna Noble ascends!

The power of the DoctorDonna kicks in, giving her genius intellect and allowing her to set in motion the destruction of the Dalek fleet.

She disables their weapons, disarms the reality bomb – sorry, "THE REALITY BOMB!!" – and... makes them do doughnuts? Ok then.

Donna twists a little button on the control desk and makes all of the Daleks spin around. Then she makes them go the other way, because you would, wouldn't you.

This is funny and all, and cuts through the bleakness of the previous moment. But it raises a whole bunch of questions – chief among them, why the Daleks would have a spin function in the first place. Not to mention a host of other switches and levers that make them completely useless.

Maybe RTD wanted to see spinning Daleks, and you know what... that's fair.
