10 Dumbest Ways Supposedly Badass TV Characters Died

Jax choosing to go out on his own terms in the final episode of Son's Of Anarchy is definitely a badass move. As tortured a soul as he was, Jax's decision to end his life and die for the sins of both his immediate family and the club that was his life, was a noble endeavour.

Yet in spite of the Christ-like parallels, as well as the fact Jax's death mirrors that of his own father, his last ride did not play out in quite the fashion some fans would have hoped. Ploughing headfirst into a truck with a convoy of Police chasing him should not have been anything but epic.

However, this might just have had something to do with the rather questionable application of CGI in the scene. It is jarringly bad, which begs the question as to why it needed to be included in the first place?

If the show had cut to the crows before the final shot of Jax with the truck about to collide with him, then the scene would have been much better. All the ground-work and parallels were in place before the final shot, which was far more important in building up Jax's death than those last few seconds of shoddy FX ever would be, so why include it?

Overall, despite the scene being awesome in context, the inclusion of a few poor moments of footage makes the death look needlessly dumb.
