6. ALF (ALF)
ALF (Alien Life Form) was a sitcom about the titular character which aired on NBC from September 22nd 1986 to March 24th 1990. ALF is an alien (obviously) who follows a radio signal to Earth and crash-lands into the garage of the Tanners - the family he would end up living with. They're a suburban middle-class family who live in the San Fernando Valley area of California and they consist of social worker Willie, his wife Kate, their teenage daughter Lynn, their younger son Brian and their cat Lucky. They take ALF in and hide him from the Alien Task Force - a part of the United States military who deal with aliens. ALF is furry and quite rodent-like, he has a rippled snout, facial moles, eight stomachs and his heart is located in his head. He has a ridiculously large appetite, is quite troublesome, sarcastic, messy, careless and cynical but, above all, he is likeable and friendly (he does, however, like eating cats).
