Although our dizzy daydreams of bearing witness to any sort of official Doctor Who/Sherlock crossover have been eternally banished to remain in the realms of fan fiction (since the showrunner of both, Steven Moffat, has revealed that it's never, ever going to happen... damn you, Moff!), luckily there are technologically talented devotees such as this one who've dedicated their time to bringing the rest of us one step closer to the long overdue meeting of two of TV's modern icons. This momentous meeting of the minds is more than enough to leave any fanboy/girl salivating at the mere thought of Matt Smith and Benedict Cumberbatch sharing the silver screen and it created an unprecedented stir within the show's respective fandoms because it's just so damned good. In fact, it can even be canon if you want it to be. Whatever gets you through the day, right? Alas, such an occasion happening for real is a forlorn fantasy but this is certainly the next best thing. The Doctor meets Sherlock Holmes. What more could you possibly want? What did you think of this list?
