6. Who Pooped The Bed? (Season 4 - Episode 7)

At it's heart, Sunny is a disgusting show, populated by disgusting characters. Sometimes this is more than enough to create a classic episode, especially in the case of Season 4's 'Who Pooped The Bed?'. It takes a simple premise - the gang's quest to find out who committed the titular misdeed - and explores their CSI-style methods of finding out, including a complicated bulletin board of cross-references and lines of investigation. They even attempt to convince a scientist to analyse a sample. The underrated star of the episode is Artemis, a generally under-appreciated character throughout the series, who walks the gang through a variety of plausible scenarios. These theoretical flashbacks are all dismissed as false by Frank, who finally admits that he did it "because poop is funny". This overly simple outcome undercuts the whole of the episode, but does so in a hilarious fashion. 'Who Pooped The Bed?' is hardly the most ingenious episode in Sunny history, but it's a damn funny one.
