Attack on Titan may have left its legions of fans divided because of the manga ending, but nothing can take away some of the sheer brilliance we got to experience during the final season. Scoring a perfect 10 IMDB rating, the episode “Assault” gave us the much anticipated showdown between Eren’s Attack Titan and Lara Tybur’s War Hammer Titan.

Monster battles aren’t always easy to pull off, but this one did not miss a beat. We started of with some classic Attack on Titan mass destruction, as both Titans battered each other. Things then got more strategic, as the War Hammer Titan’s hardening powers came into play.

Eren found himself up against an unbeatable defense, before the arrival of some familiar reinforcements, helped him turn the tables on Marley’s greatest defender. The exclamation point came when Eren delivered an iconic final blow using the Jaw as a weapon, a sight no fan could ever forget.
