10 Huge Doctor Who Plot Holes Everyone Overlooks

Clara and Danny Pink met in Series 8 when they were both working at the same school. They later go on a date, and, through some timey-wimey shenanigans, Clara and the Doctor end up travelling to the future and meeting Danny's descendent, Orson Pink.

Orson is one of humanity's first time travellers, and he ends up stuck at the end of the universe. He is identical to Danny (because they're both played by the same actor) and is inspired by a family heirloom that once belonged to Clara's squeeze.

All of this would be fine - if it wasn't later revealed that Danny died without having children.

He gets hit by a car in Dark Water and his consciousness is reborn as a Cyberman. Danny uses his love for Clara to overcome his new programming and destroy the rest of the villains, killing himself in the process. And, again, he never gets the chance to have kids before any of this.

This plot hole is so frustrating because it takes place within one series of the show. The excuse of stuff happening a long time ago just isn't applicable here - this is clumsy storytelling, and clumsy storytelling alone.
