10 Huge Doctor Who Plot Holes Everyone Overlooks

4. The Space Titanic Turns Left

Max Capricorn is a villain who feels like he was pulled right out of an Austin Powers movie, and he has a fittingly over-the-top plan to match.

He plots to crash the space cruiser Titanic into the Earth, in order to get back at the board members who voted to boot him from the company. The ship crash would destroy all life on the planet, the board would be jailed for mass murder, and Capricorn would retire off the back of his sweet, sweet revenge.

What his plan didn't account for was the Tenth Doctor, who prevents Capricorn's scheme from going through. But in the Turn Left timeline, the Doctor isn't around, is he?

As a result, Capricorn is successful in this timeline, and the space Titanic crashes into the planet, completely destroying... London? Hang on, wasn't it supposed to destroy everything, not just one city? The Doctor even states "If a Max Capricorn ship hits the Earth, it destroys an entire planet."

This is either a case of Capricorn and the Doctor being idiots, or a plot hole. Three guesses which one we think it is.
